Mason's 3rd Birthday

Mason is now 3 years old! Time just continues to fly! He is a tall 39/40 inches and weighs about 35 pounds. He continues to be a very picky eater, refusing fruits and vegetable (along with many other foods). His staples are peanut butter and jelly "budderjelly", chicken nuggets, applesauce, crackers and ANYTHING sweet. As far as potty training goes, Mason is not interested at all. We continue to try and hopefully it clicks soon! He LOVES Thomas the Train, reading books, and playing on the iPad.

Mason started going from being a GREAT sleeper, to not wanting to go to bed. For about a week, he would have to lay with us, or cry at his gate. He started to just fall asleep at his gate with a book and his blankie. Don't worry, we did put him IN his bed!

He now brings his blanket and pillow with him. Notice we are a few feet from the gate now :)

Summer Fun

Mason had a great summer! He hung out with mom a lot because dad and papa were busy working on the barn....um, the shed, or .....ballher headquarters! We spent a lot of time outside, swimming and playing with Drew, playing at the park, going to the Butterfly House, playing with Sydney at Grandma Teal's, swimming at Cutty's, Carnation Days in the Park, fireworks, etc. Mason is finally starting to talk more. Early this summer, Mason got into potty training, but that only last for a week. Now, he wants nothing to do with the potty. He continues to grow like a weed and is so much fun to be around! It's amazing how fast he picks up everything! Within a week or two, he had memorized over 50 sight words (see videos below).
