December Pics

Christmas 2011

The family spent Christmas Eve this year at Dave and Missi's in Carrollton. Mason had a great time playing with his cousins, Owen and Ellie. Santa made an appearance, but he was NOT happy! Mason was also trying to be the center of attention during the gift exchange by wearing a red bow on his forehead.

This was one of the favorite gifts on Christmas Day (at Grandpa and Grandma Teal's house).

2 years old!

Wow,is Mason really 2 years old? Where has the time gone? Although he is not talking much (talking that we understand), he knows practically all of the letter sounds. He even knows a few letters in order! He is constantly pointing out letters and saying their sound, whether it be on a shirt, a stop sign or grocery shopping! His favorite thing to play with right now is cars. He LOVES cars! Anything with wheels will keep him busy these days.
He is now 29 pounds (65th percentile) and is 35.25 inches tall (75th percentile). He is starting to become a picky eater at times. He loves his breakfast foods, but by dinner, he will just nibble here and there most days. He is also just now starting to become shy around people if they take notice to him. Mason is really figuring out how things work. If he sees a cabinet open or something not where it is supposed to be, he fixes it! He will take his time until it is right. I tell Tom he gets that from me, but we both know the truth :)

Yes, he was crying here! He was mad he couldn't put his hands in the cake!

These are the only pictures I got of Mason in his Halloween costume. He was a Transformer :)

Summer Pictures

Mason's new obsession...the sweeper! He goes crazy when I get the sweeper out of the hall closet. He also loves to get the Swiffer sweeper out, turn it on, and run it all over the house (which is completely fine with me!)

It doesn't get much better than this!

Mason loves it when I give him rides around the yard on the tractor (don't worry, no blades are on!) After one trip around, he will sign "more" and "please" to go around again.
