Mason's First Cavs Game

We took Mason to his first Cavs game on December 21st.  He didn't have as much fun as we had anticipated.  He ended up covering his ears because it was too loud, then he fell asleep.  He did enjoy shooting a free throw when the game was over.

Mohican 2014

 

Mason - 5 Years Old!

We can't believe Mason has been in our lives for 5 years! He is growing up so fast.  He is now just over 43 pounds and is 44 1/4 inches tall.  We absolutely love this age and wish he could stay five forever!  Just like always, Mason loves to laugh and have a good time.  He has a heart of gold, which really comes out when he plays with Jaxson.   He wants to be the first one to see his brother when he wakes up in the morning or from a nap.  He loves trying to make Jaxson smile or shake his head (no, no, no)!   

 

 In the last year, he has become a great eater.  He will try almost anything we give him and eats plenty of fruits and vegetables (which was a struggle for several years).  His favorite time to eat is right before bed, which is late!  Some of his favorite foods are pretzels and hummus, apples and peanut butter, and bananas. 

 

Mason is in his second year of preschool at Washington Elementary.  He loves school and riding the bus.  He amazes us at how well he understands letters, words, numbers, etc.  He pretty much knows all of his sight words and can sound out words he does not recognize.  Mason loves numbers and can count to 100. 

 

Mason still loves trains, but also enjoys playing games, Play-Doh, puzzles, books, playing the iPad, watching tv, playing basketball in his bedroom, and of course, playing with Jaxson.  He has also really gotten into watching basketball with Tom.  Every time someone makes a basket, he takes immediate notice and announces the new score.
