Summer Pictures

Mason's new obsession...the sweeper! He goes crazy when I get the sweeper out of the hall closet. He also loves to get the Swiffer sweeper out, turn it on, and run it all over the house (which is completely fine with me!)

It doesn't get much better than this!

Mason loves it when I give him rides around the yard on the tractor (don't worry, no blades are on!) After one trip around, he will sign "more" and "please" to go around again.

Mason played with this bottle for about an hour. He kept pulling the nozzle off and trying to put the straw back down the little hole. Needless to say, he is a pro!

July 4th

I just love these pictures of the kids on the 4th of July! They were taken at Dan's pond by Tom's cousin, Jamie.

19/20 months old

Mason at 19/20 months old. He weighs about 28 pounds and is 34 inches tall. A couple weeks ago, Mason's top molars came through, so he now has 10 teeth. He is turning into such a little character. He loves to make us laugh with his silly looks (especially while he is eating). He is getting better at using his fork and spoon, too! We're starting to see a picky eater some days. After breakfast, all he wants are cookies and crackers. It hard to get fruits and vegetables into him. Sometimes I can trick him into eating something by sprinkling ground up graham crackers
on the food!

Some days, Mason takes 1 nap, other days it's still 2. He loves playing on the ipad. It amazed us how fast he learned to use it. He also like playing basketball (as long as we clap for him after every shot he makes)! Outside, he enjoys his swing and sand/water table. Mason can also point to many body parts. His favorite is putting his finger UP his nose when we ask where his nose is. I should have known better than to laugh the first few times he did that!

Mason loves animal cookies! You can never give him just one of something. He will sign please (he taps his chest), takes the cookie, then, signs please with his other hand. This goes for anything you give him to eat now! When he eats one, he needs another right away so that both hands are full again!

For several months now, Mason has enjoyed watching YouTube videos. We will play in the back room and have YouTube on in the background. As soon as he hears his song is going to end, he jumps up and presses the space bar so it plays again. Some of his current favorites are: I'm a Little Teapot (obvious as he was also watching this in his first haircut pictures), The Alphabet Song, Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, and any songs from NickJr such as Three Little Birds, Beside the Seaside, Everywhere I Go.

A typical morning consists of getting up, having milk and some Cheerios while I make breakfast.
