Going Home!
November 30th was a bittersweet day. After spending 3 weeks in the NICU, Mason was finally ready to go home. We were very excited but would also miss all of the NICU nurses who took such wonderful care of our little guy. It's like we got a crash course on how to raise a newborn, just by watching the nurses. It made for a very smooth transition home.

That is such a bittersweet day! You are so ready to be home with the baby and yet you reeeaaally want that support system the nurses offered, both physically and emotionally. I am still so happy Mason had a short NICU stay and that he is doing so well!
