7 months old -- June 9th

I can't believe Mason is already 7 months old! He is now 18 pounds 4 ounces and about 27 inches long. Tom and I are so lucky to be able to spend the summer with him. He is so much fun to interact with right now. It is so easy to get Mason to smile and laugh. All you have to do is look at him and he cracks up! Tom and I were talking last night about how Mason has really set the bar high for any future children. He sleeps about 12 hours at night, always goes with the flow, is a great eater, smiles at everything, and just loves life!

His hands are always in his mouth or on his feet. He is showing off by doing both in this picture!

SOLIDS!

Mason started on solids at 6 months old. He eats pretty much anything, except meats. I can't blame him (they smell awful). We'll have to make some of our own meats and blend them up!

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TOM!

May pictures

Mason showing off the "gear" that the staff will be wearing for our 5th grade vs. staff kickball game next Friday! As for his outfit, we won't talk about the Cavs (his uniform didn't help during this series).
May 11th - my 31st birthday. If you are wondering, we tried something different for a cake this year. It is made of Cinnabons!

Me, Mason and cousin Sydney.

Can you guess who Mason takes after when it comes to sleeping? You can find Mason sleeping in with his arm over his head practically everyday!

6 months old - May 9th

Mason at 6 months old. He is now 17 1/2 pounds and 26 inches long. For a full term 6 month old, that is 50th percentile for weight and 30th percentile for length. Mason is in love with his jumper right now. He will jump and sway back and forth forever, until he puts himself to sleep at times. He is constantly experimenting with his voice, whether it be babbling, cooing, yelling, or laughing. All you have to do to get a smile out of him is look at him :) His fingers are still in his mouth most of the time. Oh, and he just learned how to blow raspberries (which leads to LOTS of drool)! I can't believe how fast this first 6 months has gone by. Everyone was so right when they said time will fly by when you have a baby. I am really looking forward to being at home with him again very soon! I think we have 4 more weeks until summer break.

March of Dimes

Tom, Diane, Mason and I participated in our first (and certainly not last) March of Dimes/March for Babies. It was a cold and very windy day, but we had fun helping a good cause! Thanks to everyone who sponsored us!

Baptism April 11th

Mason was baptised on April 11th at St. Louis Church. Afterwards, everyone came back to our house to celebrate! It was a beautiful day and nice to have the family together!

Mason didn't mind the water at all. We figured he wouldn't - he LOVES bath time :)

Mason with his grandmas!

5 months old - April 9th

Mason at 5 months old. He weighs 15 pounds, 13 ounces and is 25 1/2 inches long! Since 3 months old, he has been sleeping through the night. Now that I am back to work, I have to wake HIM up in the morning. He will go 11 hours or so if you let him!

I think Mason is the happiest baby on Earth! He is constantly smiling at anyone who will talk to him :) He is still sucking on his hands like crazy, although we have not seen any teeth just yet. These days, he loves being in his jumper and watching tv. He will actually "talk" at the tv - haha.

Mason adjusted very well to the babysitter when I went back to work. He is such a "go with the flow" baby. I am sure he loves all the attention from the little girls. Although going back to work wasn't too bad, I am VERY ready for summer break!
